    Yearly Meeting 2013

Yearly Meeting 2013 is being asked to approve changes to Quaker faith & practice chapter 8 (the centrally managed work of Britain Yearly Meeting) and section 6.28 from the chapter on Yearly Meeting. It is helpful if Friends and Meetings can read the proposed changes in advance of Yearly Meeting and raise any comments with the Recording Clerk at Friends House (by post or by email on qfp@quaker.org.uk). It should be realised that matters of format and printing style will follow the published book, and need not be commented on at this stage. Chapters 6 and 8 are available here [PDF: 338kb - new window].

It may also be helpful to read the proposed changes in conjunction with the revised chapters 6 (Yearly Meeting) and 7 (Meeting for Sufferings) as agreed by Yearly Meeting in 2012. The three chapter, 6, 7 and 8 are designed to be read together and follow one another through. Revised chapters 6 and 7 are not yet in print but can be found on this website. A new printed edition of Quaker faith & practice is scheduled for publication following Yearly Meeting this year.
