7. Meeting for Sufferings

Constitution

Committee representatives

7.08

In order that the meeting may have immediately available to it authoritative information about the thinking or action of any of its principal committees which may appear to have a bearing on any subject under consideration, Yearly Meeting appoints representatives of certain standing committees, on the nomination of those committees, in accordance with the schedule provided (7.05.b). These committees are asked to ensure that there is a regular attendance of their representatives.

The representation of the Quaker Finance & Property Central Committee comprises its clerk and one other in recognition of the role of the clerk as Yearly Meeting Treasurer in relation to the centrally managed work as a whole.
