Classification of returns

For tabular statement purposes (see 4.10.h, 6.07) returns shall be classified under:

a. resignations on the initiative of the member;

b. terminations of membership on the initiative of the area meeting;

c. resignations on behalf of children.

Area meeting clerks shall complete a footnote stating how many terminations under b are in each of the categories in 11.31 and how many under c are on the initiative of the area meeting. It is therefore important that minutes recording the termination of membership be specific.
